Just when you thought spring was right around the corner, Mother Nature decided to throw more Arctic cold and snow our way. Nature is a constant reminder that life is entirely unpredictable, and that we should never become complacent. And it reminds us that anything and everything can change. Just when you think you can't take any more winter, spring arrives. When life gets stressful, the change of seasons reminds us that nothing lasts forever, and that life is about letting go, and starting again. Welcome to our winter/spring edition of the Falcon Vision!
Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."
With this in mind, we've chosen to devote this issue to student writing, poetry and artwork. We salute students who use the written and visual mediums to express themselves and their traditions, memories, beliefs and ideas . The world may be grounded in fact, but it cannot move forward and grow without those who are willing to think outside the box, and those who have the courage to use their voice.
