Nicole Heath is one of our new counselors at Bow High School, and she's enjoying her time at BHS. Some of her favorite things about Bow High School are our positive perspective and strong sense of community.
One of Ms. Heath's long term goals at BHS is to get to know students as well as their families. She believes getting to know students and families helps create better relationships, and brings a better understanding of each other.
When she was growing up in Salem, New Hampshire, she wanted to be a veterinarian. She ended up graduating college with a degree in psychology. Ms. Heath realized that she wanted a job that
combined psychology and working with students, so she became a school counselor. At her previous school, she was a school counselor for ten years!
Outside of school, Ms. Heath enjoys activities like hiking and running with her family. Another activity she enjoys is teaching a baking class with little kids for Concord Parks and Recreation. She also enjoys golfing in her free time. A tradition she has with her son is buying a new nutcracker to add to their collection every year. Ms. Heath has a golden retriever, named Henry, and three cats. In the future, she is planning on getting another puppy.
Welcome to BHS Ms. Heath!
