Dungeons and Dragons
Who: Co-advisors Mr. Jon Cannon and Mr. Robert Luger
What: A role-playing game in which players create a character and they get to make decisions, making for collaborative and fun game! Involves problem solving and strategizing. Actively play or play other board games that are offered!
When: Thursdays after school 3-4:30PM
Where: The BHS Library
Why: To share the love of D&D
How: Just show up and observe! The people in the game and staff will help you. All are welcome. Even teachers!
Book Club
Who: Co-advisors Mrs. Gina Aubin and Mr. Sam Dixon
What: They read all genres. Books are decided by club members and library loaned. They discuss the book, and play trivia. Book Club also collected books for the people who suffered in the California Wildfires.
When: Once a month, Tuesdays during Flex
Where: The BHS Library
Why: It's a fun way for students to get together, socialize, explore new genres and talk about books in a non-judgemental place.
How: Email Mr. Dixon or Mrs. Aubin and you will receive an invitation to the classroom.
Falcon Vision
Who: Co-advisors Mrs. Gina Aubin and Mrs. Joy Dustin
What: Newspaper Literary Magazine/Student
When: Fridays during Flex once a month
Where: Room 1311 (BHS)
Why: To give students the opportunity to explore the journalism field through student lead experiences (interviews, articles, on the spot, photography, etc). Opportunities for everyone!
How: Show up to the meetings, email Mrs. Aubin and Mrs. Dustin or reach out to the members! All are welcome!
